How do I find an event?

You can either go to All Events to see all the events in your selected region, or My Events, which will only show the events you or your racer are eligible for—that is, races where registration is open and your participants are eligible to compete.

If a race isn’t appearing, check these five common causes:


  1. Registration Status – Is race registration still open, or has it not opened yet? You can view the registration dates by navigating to the event details page.

  2. US Ski & Snowboard ID – Does the participant have an active ID listed in their profile? You can check this by navigating to your My Participants page and looking at you or your racer's profile. If it is not recently updated, please click on the Manual Refresh button.

  3. Region and Club – Is the correct region and club selected in the participant’s profile?

  4. Eligibility – Is the participant the correct age and gender for this race? You can view the requirements of a race by navigating to the event details page.

  5. Qualified Race – Is this a qualified event? If so, the race administrator may not have marked the participant’s ID as eligible. Contact them directly if that’s the case.

If you're still confused, you can always check the All Events page instead of the My Events page. There, you can find the race you were looking for by filtering, and when you click to view the race page, it will display a specific reason for any of your participants who are ineligible.

If you're getting an error about not having a valid US Ski & Snowboard license or regional membership like NYSSRA or VARA, and you're sure you do have one, it's most likely one of these things:


  • If you just recently purchased your license or membership on another site, you may need to refresh your participant profile. You can check this by navigating to your My Participants page and looking at you or your racer's profile. If it is not recently updated, please click on the Manual Refresh button.
  • If it's been longer and it's still not validating, there may be an issue with your membership. You can contact us directly if that is the case.

If you can't find the race on the All Events page, that means the club hasn't listed the race on our site. In that case, you can contact them directly to inquire if or when they intend to list the race on our site.
